So I have shared my VIP Experience and all about Sweet Suite from Blogger Bash a few weeks ago. One of the last events I want to share with you is very near and dear to my heart for many reasons. I have always been one to champion causes and do my best to support non-profit organizations in my community. My passion for helping others is the whole reason that I became a social worker. This genuine love to help others is the reason why I love working with Element Associates. The founder is Debbie Bookstaber. I met her a few years ago at my very first blogging conference, SheCon. Since then I have worked with her and her team, and have gotten to know her as a caring, compassionate, and kindred spirit. Her mission to support causes like food safety, cancer, and community outreach is just one of the reasons why I love working with her so much. When I learned that her and her team would be hosting the Element Associates Social Suite at Blogger Bash this year I was beyond excited. Not only because I would get to see her but I would get the chance to learn about new causes she is supporting and brands she is working with. Well let me tell ya, this event was awesome. Don’t believe me?? Check it out for yourself!
Blogger Bash ~ EA Social Suite Event
To kick of the EA Social Suite event was COVERGIRL with their Blogger Ambassador Claudia Krusch (pictured top right). Claudia is the force behind Trendy Latina. She is also a very sweet friend who happens to always look amazing. COVERGIRL was at the event to showcase their new #InstaGLAM collection. They were giving makeup touch ups and manicures. Makeup touch-ups featured essential beauty products for moms-on-the-go including: COVERGIRL’s new #instaGLAM Collection (Ready Set Gorgeous Liquid Foundation, Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer, Ready Set Gorgeous Fresh Complexion Pressed Powder, and Colorlicious Lip Gloss), Bombshell ShineShadow by LashBlast, truMAGIC, and Clump Crusher by LashBlast Mascara. The Manicures featured the new COVERGIRL XL Nail Gel collection—the polishes provide the plump, polished look of a gel manicure without having to go to the salon. The formula glides on smoothly and evenly, and one coat is all you need. Also, there’s no UV light required.Talk about a way to kick off an event.
COVERGIRL also gave us a COVERGIRL Colorlicious Lip Gloss color of our choosing & the makeup artist gave me the one she used on me. (I may or may not be a lip gloss
hoarder collector. I think everyone has 40 lip glosses of the same color family. Right?) The 2 pictures above are from the new #InstaGLAM collection called Juicy Fruit (Top) and Give Me Guava (Bottom). I have to say I really love the colors and they look great on too!
One of the neatest things at the EA Event was celebrating Smokey the Bear’s 70th Birthday! Did you know that Smokey the Bear was that old?? I sure didn’t.
Smokey Bear posed for photos and shared birthday cake with the bloggers. Nine out of ten wildfires are started by humans, and Smokey Bear still plays a key role in educating the public that “Only YOU can prevent wildfires.” You can help wish Smokey a Happy Birthday by signing his online card: HERE I don’t know about you but Smokey the Bear was a big part of my childhood since I grew up around a lot of wooded areas. It is a very important lesson that I hope you are teaching your kids too!
Alex’s Lemonade Stand is an organization near and dear to my heart. I don’t talk about it much but my older sister Angel died of cancer when she was 20 and I was 14. Anytime I can help raise money for kids affected by cancer I do it. This year in September Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be working to walk, run, or ride a Million miles to raise money and spread awareness of childhood cancers. I hope that you will join me this September for the cause!
Have you seen the Wubble Bubble Ball? I bet your kids have. This thing is so much fun. Just in case you haven’t seen the commercial check it out below.
Doesn’t it look like fun?? Seriously I had so much fun playing with it at the EA Social Suite that I forgot to take pictures. LOL This is going to be a hot toy pick this year for the holidays for sure. I can’t wait to get one for
me the kids! 🙂
The last brand I want to highlight is Joseph Nogucci. The bloggers attending were the first to see the new Miii jewelry collection by Joseph Nogucci. Miii bracelets are crafted from semiprecious stone beads and gleaming rhodium-plated magnets designed to bring all of your bracelets together in a perfect arm stack. Like individual charms on a bracelet, each Miii commemorates a specific milestone or memory. I am not normally a jewelry obsessed person but the colors of these stones are just so pretty I can’t help myself. They will be coming out this fall, come in sets of three, and you can mix and match with other sets. I LOVE the possibilities.
There were other brands at the EA Social Suite like:
- Autotex Pink ~ They encouraged bloggers to help “Wipe Out Breast Cancer.” A donation is made from each purchase of AutoTex Pink wiper blades to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. AutoTex Pink wiper blades are available in pink or in black with a pink ribbon online at www.thecequentstore.com.
- Washdrops ~ Bloggers received samples of Washdrops, an award-winning green car wash solution. Finally, there is a quick, easy and environmentally responsible way to wash your vehicle. Washdrops uses only one bucket of water—no hose or rinse is required to get a beautiful shine. Washdrops is ideal for school and non-profit car wash fundraisers too!
- iBlog Magazine ~ This magazine is perfect for bloggers of all levels. Filled with tips and useful information from bloggers and brands.
I have to say it was a great event and everyone enjoyed themselves. A Huge Thank you to Debbie, Melissa and the rest of the EA Team!! Can’t wait to attend your next event!
