November 12th: Today I am Thankful for..

Today I am Thankful to God for giving my son almost 20 years ago. Yes I was young, 16 to be exact, but God knew what he was doing. He changed my life forever and make me a better person. To say I am proud of the young man he is today, would be a complete understatment. He is hard working, respectful, honest, never been in trouble, graduated high school and holds 2 jobs. He plans to go to college soon to get his degree in computers. He makes me believe that I must have been a pretty darn good mom, regardless of how old I was when he came along. I also know that I couldn’t have done it without my Husband, Scott. He is the best role model and Dad a child could ever want. I miss my son so much now that he lives in Philadelphia and I live in Florida but my Love is far reaching. <3

  3. What a sweet post. It’s encouraging to me as a mom too, especially when I’ve had some rough days with my 9 year old lately. One day at a time, right?

    • Oh Erika, with 5 kids, somedays it’s hour by hour! LOL I so glad that my post encouraged you, that is what my whole blog is about really. As moms we question ourselves a million times a day and wonder if we are doing it right. The thing is their is no perfection in parenting. We do the best we can with what we know and what we have. I bet you are a fantastic mom!!! Hang in there, this time really flies by, believe it or not. And although I certainly had my fair share of those days with my oldest he proved to me that it is all worth it! Thanks for dropping by a leaving a comment!!! (((HUGS)))
