Sea World Halloween Spooktacular Event

Sea World Halloween Spooktacular

This past weekend my family and I were invited to experience Sea World Halloween Spooktacular  here in Orlando. This was an extra special treat for my youngest 2 daughter and husband because they have never been to Sea World. As a family this would be our first time all together at an amusement park in quite sometime, since my husband works most weekends, so we were all pretty excited to go.

Sea World Halloween Spooktacular Event Area

One of the first things we saw when we entered the area at Sea World where the Spooktacular event was held was bubbles. Now what kid (or adult) doesn’t love bubbles. They had bubble stations throughout the area that really created a great fun feeling. When you first walk through the event area you are given a cute tick or treat bag which comes in handy because they have plenty of stations for Trick or Treating.

Spooktacular cookie

One of the special things you can do at the Spooktacular event is decorate a cookie. For $5.oo you get a GIGANTIC sugar cookie, frosting, decorations and your choice of Milk or Apple Juice. I have to tell you I have never seen a cookie this big. Both the girls loved this. They each were able to show off their cookie decorating skills. As you can see my one daughter, pictured top right, must use every decoration given, while the other one made a nice neat decoration in the middle. This is probably one of their favorite things we did that day.

Did I mention that entrance into this event is ALL INCLUDED in the price of admission?? Yep that’s right you don’t have to pay extra for the Halloween Spooktacular event. As a mom of 5 this is a welcomed surprise. For the Spooktacular event they also offer crafts and dancing in Penelope’s Dance Zone. Throughout the park you will also find special photo opps with some pretty cool characters, face painting and games (face painting & games do cost extra)!

Dolphin Show Sea World

Once you have enjoyed the Halloween Spooktacular you can also enjoy the rest of what Sea World has to offer. For our family we had to see the shows with the animals and ride a few rides. My youngest 2 had never seen a dolphin or whale up close so it was pretty exciting and of course they both wanted to sit in the splash zone. LOL

One Ocean Sea World

All in all I have to say we all had a wonderful time exploring the park and enjoying the Halloween Spooktacular. I must say that if you have never been to Sea World or if it’s been a while, now is the perfect time to go. The weather is beautiful, the temperature is perfect and Halloween Spooktacular is an awesome bonus to your visit.

The Halloween Spooktacular will be taking place every weekend in October. For more information about this event check out the Sea World Halloween Spooktacular website.

A huge Thank you to Sea World for inviting us for a complimentary day at the park to experience the Halloween Spooktacular.
