As I’ve shared before I have 1 son currently in college with 2 more kids waiting in the wings. While I have tried my best to prepare him for the real world It was quite an eye opener for him when he saw that tuition bill. Thankfully we had enough to pay this semesters tuition bill but for many that may not be the case. That is where the Florida Prepaid Foundation Scholarship Program comes in to save the day so to speak. Now until October 29th you have the chance to win a 2 year scholarship for your child.
Florida Prepaid Foundation Scholarship
Ten Florida families will win two free years of college from the Florida Prepaid College Foundation,
which is launching its Florida Prepaid Scholarship Program. Participants can register to win one of ten 2-Year Florida College Plans at
www.floridaprepaidscholarshipprogram.com. Then you get chances to earn extra entries by answering
questions, learning more about saving for college and sharing on social media. There will also be
chances to win a total of 50 weekly prizes. So enter, share with friends and family so they can enter, and

For many a 2yr scholarship will be all they need as they pursue an associates or a trade certification at a tech college. For those that are wanting a 4yr degree this would be a wonderful opportunity to get a jump start without breaking the bank. You can also use those 2 years to save up for the next 2 years. In either case this is truly a wonderful opportunity.
Florida Prepaid College Foundation’s goal is to get as many eligible Florida families as possible entered to win – but more than that, to start conversations in households across the state about preparing academically and financially for
college. Studies show that saving early can motivate students to prepare academically for college, and
help them reduce or avoid student loan debt.
And saving early really is feasible, with a little planning and budget consideration. More and more across
Florida, students are starting at one of our 28 colleges to save money and get a strong start. Sixty-five
percent of the state’s high school graduates pursuing postsecondary education begin at a Florida
Florida Prepaid’s 2-Year Florida College Plan covers tuition and other specified fees for 60 lower division
credit hours at a Florida College. This plan offers a child the opportunity to earn an associate’s degree or
trade certification in any number of fields, and is an excellent springboard to a fulfilling career or further
The 2-Year Florida College Plan is one of five available Florida Prepaid Plans, which all include tuition and
other specified fees. A family can purchase Plans all at once, over five years or in monthly installments.
Prepaid Plans are available for purchase during Open Enrollment, which begins October 15, 2017 and
ends February 28, 2017.
