National Pizza Week Recipes
Did you know that this week was National Pizza Week?? I didn’t either but with kids going back to school after the long holiday break it makes sense. Here in my house pizza is a staple. It is something I know that everyone will eat and can easily be personalized. To celebrate National Pizza week I have 9 great recipes that I think you will want to try and a pizza crust recipe perfect for those that are starting their journey to better health.
First up are 4 recipes that may be more on the gourmet side but have flavor combinations you will want to taste for yourself. In the upper left corner above is Easy Caprese Pizza by Simply Being Mommy. I personally LOVE Caprese salad so this is a must make for me.
Below that is that is Sweet and Sour Chicken Flatbread Pizza by Two Healthy Kitchens. If you love sweet and sour chicken this is a perfect way to use left overs or try something a little different.
On the Top right is simple but fresh and delicious Grilled Pizza by Garden Matter. The use of fresh tomatoes just makes me hungry looking at the pictures.
And the last one in this group is Fig Blue Cheese and Apple Pizza by Family Food and Travel. I love all these flavors separately and can’t wait to try them together.
This group of recipes has some fun twists on pizza and another gourmet one you may want to try. The first one in this group in the upper left is a Steakhouse Pizza by Cooking with Curls. My husband loves steak so this would be a great pizza for him. (okay I really want to make it for myself LOL).
Below that is a recipe perfect for little ones or for a party. It is Mini Pizza Muffin Tin Appetizers By A Cultivated Nest. I haven’t tried it but I bet you could make these ahead and freeze them for quick meals.
On the upper right we have a Easy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Pizza Recipe by Merry About Town. Growing up we had breakfast pizza all the time. This recipe can easily be changed to bacon or any other breakfast meat you want to use.
The last recipe in this group is a gourmet pizza that is just begging to be made. It is Gourmet Peach, Onion And Balsamic Pizza by Creative Green Living.
