Italian Sauteed Mushrooms

 

My new latest food obsession is mushrooms. I’ve always loved them in my salad and spaghetti but up until 2 weeks ago I never had them sauteed. This Easy Italian Sauteed Mushrooms recipe is super easy to make and can be added to eggs, put on top of steak, or eaten alone (which is how I have been eating them.)

Easy Italian Sauteed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • mushrooms, any kind will do and the amount depends on your preference
  • 1-2 tablespoons of butter
  • Italian seasoning, the amount you use depends on your flavor taste
  • Parmesan cheese, again the amount you use depends on your preference

 

Directions:

Step 1: Dice mushrooms into small to medium size pieces

Step 2: Heat a large skillet to medium high, add butter, and mushrooms.

Step 3: Stir mushrooms occasionally until you see them start to sweat.

Step 4: Once the mushrooms have started to turn dark and sweat sprinkle on the amount of Italian Seasoning you desire.

Step 5: Saute the mushrooms with the Italian Seasoning for about a minute or so. Then sprinkle in Parmesan Cheese.

Step 6: Stir the mushrooms with the Parmesan Cheese for just a minute or so. Then plate and Enjoy!
