Vegas may not be one of the first holiday destinations to spring to mind when you think ‘kid-friendly’, but in fact there are options that that will suit the whole family, should you choose to spend your holiday in Vegas. For instance, if you have children who are interested in the natural world then a trip to the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens located within the Bellagio Casino/Hotel complex will be ideal for them. The displays are changed every month and it is entirely free.
Then again, if you think they would prefer to get out and about and explore nature more directly, than taking a boat out in the Lake Mead national park, or wandering the Black Canyon. It’s sure to suit more adventurous tastes. Of course not all kids (or their parents!) relish the great outdoors, and the shopping, dining and live music facilities at the Fremont Street Experience will be distinctly preferable to some. There are two live music soundstages here, more shops than you can dream of, and plenty of places to eat so it is somewhere you can potentially spend hours wandering around.
This all goes to demonstrate that Vegas is certainly a suitable place to take the children on holiday, but for those periods that you have some time to yourself, there is still a host of great casino options. Places like the Bellagio and the Wynn Las Vegas offer a choice of table and slots games which are second to none. They combine with the sort of luxury that will make you feel like a visiting movie star. Download here to try a few games before setting off. Obviously the casino gambling is not suitable for children (although things like the Fountains of Bellagio lights and water show found within them certainly are), but Vegas provides a perfect mixture of grown-up and child-friendly fun.
