Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending SheCon’12 at Disney Coronado Springs Resort. I have stay before in each of the ;value resorts such as, All-Star Music, All-Star Movies and All-Star Sports. I’ve loved my stay at each of hem. Anyone that knows me knows that I will search and search for a deal. I can’t stand over paying for anything. Well as a Florida resident my girls LOVE Disney. We have stayed off property in the past but to honest the rooms may be cheaper but you aren’t saving money. ;Once you pay for parking and deal with the frustration of getting in and out and driving back to the hotel at the end of the day you are emotionally and physically spent. Staying on property saves you time and money. Most importantly it lowers your stress level.
One of the biggest mistakes I find that people make when they visit any Disney World park is trying to do it all in one ;day. As a mom of 5, I can tell you this just doesn’t work. You end up with cranky kids and parents. My best advice is to pace yourself. If you start first thing in the morning take a break at lunch. Go back to your hotel and grab a bite to eat and relax for a couple hours before you head back. You and your kids will be so much happier and ready to really enjoy the rest of the park. Now back to the Coronado Springs Resort.
One of of the prettiest things you will see when you come to the Coronado Springs Resort is the water fountain at the main entrance.
To me to see this fountain and the grandeur of the entrance is such a wow moment. It really sets the tone for the rest of your stay. Once you get all registered and make your way to your room that is when some of the Disney Magic starts for the little ones. I’ve always loved the towel figures and animals that you see when you stay on property.
My girls have always loved this bit of Disney Magic. Especially when you come back from being gone some of the day and there is a new creation on your bed. It’s always fun to guess what it will be.
For me as a Disney loving adult my Magic lies in something so simple at the Coronado Springs Resort. After a long day at the parks and all the sights and sounds, nothing relaxes me more or brings me more peace then lying on a hammock like this one below on the property with my hubby. It is so peaceful and quiet. Usually at night in Florida there is a wonderful light breeze that just makes it perfect to be outside and look up at the stars.
That to me was probably one of the things I missed most about my visit; I missed my hubby(and my kids, LOL). I promise that my next visit he will be with me and be able to experience this too. There really isn’t anything lacking in this resort. The rooms are huge, 3 awesome pools, the great playgrounds and special little extras make this the perfect resort for families or singles. I give the Coronado Springs Resort a glowing review and recommend everyone stay here at least once. I promise you will be smitten!
